Regional Sales Manager – Tamilnadu

Experience: Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in sales, with at least 3-5 years in a managerial role within the diagnostics or medical devices industry.

Work Location: Chennai 

Role: Full Time 

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. An advanced degree is a plus.

Sales Skills: Proven track record of meeting sales targets and driving revenue growth in a competitive market.

Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and team management abilities, with a focus on motivating and developing sales talent.

Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, team members, and senior management.

Market Knowledge: Deep understanding of the Tamil Nadu market, including key customers, competitors, and market dynamics.

Proactive Attitude: Self-driven and able to work independently with minimal supervision, while also being a collaborative team player.

 

Roles & Responsibilities

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Regional Sales Manager to lead our sales operations in Tamil Nadu. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth, managing key accounts, and leading a sales team to achieve targets. This role is critical for expanding our market presence in Tamil Nadu and ensuring the successful implementation of sales strategies aligned with our company’s goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Strategy and Execution: Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve regional sales targets and increase market share in Tamil Nadu.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of sales professionals, setting clear objectives and ensuring they are met.
  • Account Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, including laboratories, hospitals, and distributors, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Market Expansion: Identify new business opportunities and potential customers, expanding Microlyn’s presence in the Tamil Nadu region.
  • Sales Forecasting and Reporting: Monitor sales performance and provide regular reports to senior management, including sales forecasts, market analysis, and competitor insights.
  • Customer Support Coordination: Work closely with the service and support teams to ensure customer needs are met promptly and effectively.
  • Compliance and Ethics: Ensure all sales activities comply with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards.
  • Budget Management: Manage the regional sales budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources and cost-effectiveness.
  • Training and Development: Provide ongoing training and support to the sales team, helping them grow and improve.
